The Upper Pemigewasset Historical Society is a cultural organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and presenting the Upper Pemigewasset Region's heritage.

The mission of the Upper Pemigewasset Historical Society is to preserve, protect, and share the rich history of the Upper Pemigewasset Region of New Hampshire. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to educate and inspire our community and visitors by procuring and preserving historical artifacts, conducting research, organizing events, and providing a platform for the exploration and appreciation of our shared heritage. 

Our vision is to be the foremost authority and trusted resource for the history of the Upper Pemigewasset Region. We aspire to create a vibrant cultural hub where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can engage with the past, foster a deeper understanding of our local history, and cultivate a sense of pride and connection to our communities. We envision a future where the Upper Pemigewasset Historical Society is recognized as a pillar of historical preservation, education, and community engagement.
